Getting started

1. To create an account, click on the ‘Create Account’ button on the menu bar to register your details.

2. Purchase class credits by clicking on the ‘Pricing’ thenSmall Group Training button on the menu bar. Purchased passes will be added in within 24 hours.

3. Book classes by clicking on the ‘BOOK CLASS’ button on the menu bar.

First-Timers

If you’re a first-timer we ask that you to arrive 15 minutes before class, so our front desk staff can check you in & show you around the gym.

If this is your first time at KOA, please do let our coaches know! Our coaches are more than happy to answer any queries you may have about the gym or your upcoming class.

We strongly recommend for you to go at your own pace and take a breather whenever you feel the need to. If there’s anything you unsure of, please ask our coaches for help. Always remember, safety comes first!

Do we offer free trial classes?
We do not offer free trial classes. However, you may purchase our Small Group Training First Time Trial Package or book in a FREE 30-minute Personal Training consultation with one of our coaches here.

Class & Open Gym Policy

  • Please be punctual, You must be physically present at the studio 5 – 10 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled class. Participants will no longer be allowed to enter the class once the class starts. Let’s respect those who are on time!
  • Members are not allowed to walk-in to class without a prior booking.
  • Do wear suitable gym attire & shoes. Safety first!
  • Please do not leave your belongings overnight.
  • Please clean up after yourself; wipe down the equipments, re-rack the weights & put the equipment back once you’re done with them!

Cancellation Policy

Small Group Class Packages & First Time Trial Package
Strict 12 hour cancellation policy.

While we do not charge a cancellation fee, if class cancellation is performed less than 12 hours, your credit will be forfeited.

Any no shows will be forfeited.

Waitlist Policy

If a class you’d like to book is full, you may choose to be added onto the Waitlist. Do ensure that you’ve sufficient passes! As once a spot becomes available, you would be automatically added into the class and notified in an email confirmation. If there are no cancellations, no credits will be deducted.

Amenities

  • 3 changing rooms/showers
  • 2 toilets
  • Lockers (padlock & key not provided)
  • Products: Hairdryers, hair straighteners, shower gel, facial cotton & cotton buds

What to bring

  • Towel
  • Shoes

While we do not sell or provide bottled water, feel free to refill your bottle at our water filter!

Location & Directions

We’re located on the Corporate side of Gateway Suites, Block B.

If you’re coming from the lobby, walk straight into the building until you pass the lifts on your left, the Gateway Corporate Suites signage and Gen-I Kids Centre on your right. Turn right after Gen-I Kids Centre, walk towards the outside area, and turn left. KOA Fitness is further up ahead on your left.

If you’re coming from the parking, head to Ground floor. Once you’ve stepped outside the lift, walk straight until you see the Gateway Corporate Suites signage or Gen-I Kids Centre in front of you. Turn right after Gen-I Kids Centre walk towards the outside area, and turn left. KOA Fitness is further up ahead on your left.

Parking

Underground parking is available at Gateway Corporate Suites, on all levels during the weekend and after 7pm on weekdays (P1 to P3a; all reserved slots are open).

RM2 per hour on weekday; RM1 per hour on weekends. Cash only.

Street side parking is an option, however at your own risk.

Pregnant & Injuries

Pregnant
We strongly recommend for you to seek your doctor’s approval before attending our classes.

If you’ve been working out regularly before & during your pregnancy, you may join our classes. However, do work out at your own pace. Also, drop us a call in advance so that we can notify the coaches of your attendance!

Injuries
We strongly recommend for you to seek your doctor’s approval before attending our classes.

If you have a recurring or existing injury, do notify our coaches before class begins. KOA Fitness reserves the rights to refuse class participation should your injury be too severe.

*For pregnancy & injuries, if you do choose to attend our classes, please understand that this is at your own risk. KOA Fitness will not be held liable if you do choose to work out with an existing injury/while pregnant.

KOA Fitness Unlimited Group Class Subscription

  1. What does the KOA Fitness Unlimited Group Class Subscription Package include?

The package grants you unlimited access to Small Group Training classes at KOA Fitness. Maximum one (1) class per day. 

  

  1. How does the subscription billing work?

The package renews automatically each month, based on the date of your first purchase. Membership fees will be charged to the payment method provided during registration. 

  

  1. What happens if my payment fails?

If your payment does not go through, your membership will be suspended until payment is successfully processed. Please ensure that your card details are up to date to avoid interruptions in your membership. 

  

  1. How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription anytime by sending a termination request to [email protected] at least 14 days before your next billing cycle. The membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and no refunds will be issued for unused sessions or late cancellations once payment has been processed. 

  

  1. Can I freeze my membership if I need to take a break?

Yes, you can request to freeze your membership for a minimum of 1 month and up to a maximum of 2 months within a 12-month period. A fee of RM100 per freeze may apply. To request a freeze, email us at [email protected] at least 14 days before the desired freeze date. 

  

  1. Does this package include access to general gym facilities?

No, the KOA Fitness Unlimited Group Class Package is exclusively for Small Group Training classes and does not include general gym access. 

  

  1. What is the cancellation policy for booked classes?

If you can’t make it to a class, please cancel your booking at least 12 hours before the class start time to avoid any penalties. Repeated no-shows may result in a temporary suspension of booking privileges.
