The second week of June saw many gyms slowly reopening following the RMCO.
For many, the reopening of gyms felt like the ‘New year, new me’ all over again. But instead, now it’s ‘New norm, new me!’
With that being said, there’s no better time than now to reset your fitness journey with our personal training sessions. Read up to find out why!
1. Get to know your body again
While adapting to the new norm requires a lot of changes, our bodies too have gone through a lot of changes.
Some have gained weight, while others lost weight. Hormone imbalances can occur too, due to stress & a change of routine – it’s different for each person.
Hiring a personal a personal trainer gives you the chance to get to know your body all over again.
2. Ease into your workout
After staying inactive during the MCO, your body needs guidance to restart your fitness routine. While group classes are great, personal training sessions are 1-on-1 sessions with yourself & just your trainer.
A personal trainer will be able to give you the proper guidance needed for your body.
This gives your body the chance to ease into your workouts, and to prevent any injuries from happening.
3. A new environment
Working out in a new environment that isn’t your home gives your mind the much-needed break it needs. You don’t have to worry about being cooped up at home or needing to find a space for your workout.
By working out in the gym, you not only get a new environment, but instead it gives you an hour off to yourself, away from any disturbances or distractions.
4. Frequent body aches & pains
Have you noticed an increase in body aches or pains over the MCO?
That could be a result of hours working from home, hunching over your dinner table or couch. Many of us tend to suffer from neck or back pain, which is a result of posture issues that we may not be aware of.
A personal trainer will be able to help you understand your aches and teach you the best ways to cope with it in on a daily. They will help to get you moving, in a safe & effective way.
5. You don’t have to do it alone
We understand that for many working out at home alone can be quite a bore. It’s sad but true when they say that most of us work harder in the presence of others.
But you don’t have to do it alone!
A personal trainer provides the energy, motivation & encouragement you need to kick start your fitness routine.
You’ll have your very own cheerleader – one that helps you set your goals, create a plan to achieve them, and celebrates the day you reach them.
